Our au pairs become integral members of the households they join — supporting children's routines, helping coordinate family travel, and building meaningful professional experience along the way.
We strongly prefer candidates who already hold a valid US visa or existing authorization to work or travel in the United States. Every placement includes comprehensive insurance and ongoing support throughout the year.

What to expect during your placement.
Flexible Schedule
Weekdays roughly 8am to 6pm with guaranteed days off. A live-in position with healthy boundaries.
Extensive Travel
Accompany families on trips across the US and abroad. All travel costs covered by the family.
Private Room
Your own room (often private bath) in the family's home. Meals and living expenses included.
Real Compensation
Monthly stipend, health insurance, travel covered, and the ability to save meaningfully over the year.
How it works: au pair logistics
- 1Apply — submit your profile, background documents, and a short video introduction.
- 2Screening — interview, reference checks, background check, and English proficiency review.
- 3Matching — we introduce you to host families whose needs fit your experience and preferences.
- 4Confirm & sponsor paperwork — once matched, your sponsor issues your DS-2019 and SEVIS registration.
- 5Visa appointment — DS-160 application and embassy interview; every program and visa cost, including your local program fee, is covered by your host family.
- 6Training & travel — pre-departure training, then your flight to your host family.
- 7Your placement year — up to 45 hours/week, 1.5 days off per week, one full weekend off each month, 2 weeks paid vacation, and monthly support check-ins.

Recent graduates or final-year students from South African universities with genuine childcare experience.
You're adventurous and adaptable — comfortable in new environments, new cultures, and the pace of an active household.
Organized, self-motivated, and a strong communicator. A valid driver's licence is preferred, and existing US travel authorization is a real advantage.
